Burlington Group successfully remove squatters from £10m Mayfair property

Leading enforcement business, Burlington Group, has once again removed squatters from one of Central London’s prestigious Mayfair addresses. This time, on May 27th, about 30 squatters were emptied from a £10m office on Grosvenor Street.

On May 27th, Burlington Group enforced a High Court writ of possession to remove the squatters from 16 Grosvenor Street. The £10m building was trashed during the eight days in occupation, before Burlington Group were instructed by owners Quintain to enforce the High Court writ at the Mayfair office building. The squatters even tried setting fire to the first floor. Luckily, Burlington Group’s enforcement officers are specialists when it comes to emptying squatters from buildings so the removal went smoothly.

Commenting on the enforcement, Burlington Group’s Director, Jonathan Chatfield said, “It feels like just a game to them; they are moving from one property to the next. We removed the same squatters from another Central London properties only weeks earlier.”

“It’s unbelievable the amount of damage a large group of squatters can cause in such a short space of time. We are just glad that our experienced squatter team were on hand to assist”, he added.
